Lions colors vary from light yellow to brown. Their physical characteristics are that they have sharp claws in all of their four powerful legs, a strong jaw with big sharp teeth and a long tail with a black tuft at the end. Also, we can easily distinct male lions from female lions because of the long mane that they have on his head.

Lions spend much of their time resting, about twenty hours per day, at night, they use to hunt. The lionesses are responsible for this, they hunt in groups and eat species like buffalos and zebras.

The number of lions has decreased because of the hunting and the loss of their habitat. Now, they only live in some zones of Africa.
